“SWEET SAVAGE LOVE” by Charlotte Marie Jackson
I actually follow her on deviantArt and watched this a while ago. I loved and was delighted by everything about it, shared this with my frandzz who thought it was gross. I just remembered this clip when I saw an Adventure Time gif and decided to put this up because, why not? She might just be a student at CalArts now, but a few years from now this is going to be the stuff of cartoon comedy! She’s a terrific artist besides. (Click on her name for her artsy fartsy awesomeness.)

LE PAYSAGISTE (“MINDSCAPE”) BY JACQUES DROUIN
A particularly creative example of the pinscreen animation technique, this film is about an artist who steps inside his painting and wanders about in a landscape peopled with symbols that trigger unexpected associations. Film without words.
Really broadens the possibilities of animation :P
